NEW BUSINESS
Jennifer Saul, seeking help for repairing one of her father’s old planes, of great sentimental value. Please contact her at jennifer.saul@workday.com.
Jack is in hospice care. His son-in-law has given Chuck some of Jack’s stuff that we will be seeing in the library soon.
Frank V. has passed. The club has assisted in clearing out his workshop. Frank’s wife mentions that there a couple of desks from his workshop and an exercise cycle if anyone is interested.
Make sure your wife knows to tell us if something happens to you. Not just because we want your stuff! Make a list with an approximate value of your stuff. This will let your family not be taken in by a lowball offer from someone. As an example of this, at a swap meet there were 70 collectible tether cars for sale at a swap meet. The full value of this set of collectibles was about $150,000.
The Hillcrest gate code remains the same as what it was.
Some members are interested in Embryo class rubber models. They will investigate and report. George notes aerowerks.com has rubber models for good prices.
Let Ron know if you need a badge. He knows your name and AMA number.
PARADE OF PLANES
George presented M109, Wizard, and Zero which he made for Blackhawk.
Jim Nelson 40 pylon racer, hopes to go 170MPH. Record for this class is 164MPH. 60 ft, 21 solid line, has to take off from ground. 90Lb pull test. Class coat paint. 25,000RPM engine with 7×7.7. Photo forthcoming.

Jim Muether had two days aff and started a spur of the moment project. E36 class.
Warren presented the Valkyrie. Used Dollar Tree foam board for all wing surfaces. Very economical replacement, especially considering large area of wing. Reinforced leading edge with balsa. Canard control.
The improved Dorothy Jeanne, including the dock. Brushed motor now runs at a speed more consistent with a tug. Demo of lights and smokestack (brief, so as not to set off smoke detector!). Motor sound module works in sync with prop speed.
Note the detailing on the deck surface.
Proto X, the new nano-quad from Estes.
RAFFLE:
